MY THOUGHTS: If the remaining eight stories are anything like the four we received in the ARCs, you do not want to miss this collection! I know I’m ordering my copy today.
January Hope by Kari Trumbo was a great story. Though mom and daughter didn’t see eye to eye on everything, it was refreshing to see them respect each other’s differences. And even though the love story had to happen quickly, it didn’t seem forced or rushed at all. The way the author handles it gives complete believability.
I wasn’t sure what to expect from One Vow for September by Liwen Ho. I’m not generally a fan of first-person story-telling. But I ended up loving it. I guarantee this story will give you all the feels! I was so pleasantly surprised by this one that I know I’ll be checking out more from this author.
Jaycee Weaver’s Braver with You also gave me the chance to read something from a new to me author. This one is a touching story of healing and hope.
A title like Countdown to Her Cowboy Christmas Wedding wouldn’t normally get my attention, but I am glad it was part of this collection. Shoshanna Gabriel is another new to me author, and her story is one of mistakes, hurts, and learning how to forgive and take a chance on love.
Based on this sampling of four stories from the set, I give Save the Date a five star rating. These novellas are the perfect length to enjoy a relaxing evening reading. And the stories are perfect for when you want that warm feeling that comes from reading a sweet romance.
